"I have designed this adult headband with two ideas in mind, one to make a stylish edition to your outfit and two for the practicality of keeping your ears warm during those frosty cold Winter months, there are two rows to the stitch pattern which is made up of sc and dc’s, the pattern is great for both the beginner and experienced crocheter, you can make in one color or several colors the choice is all yours, hope you enjoy making it."
Crochet Hook4.5 mm hook, G/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge6dc & 1.5 pattern row rpt’s measures approx 1 inch

Ive had short, short hair for years and am now growing it out, so its all different lengths. Narrow head bands just dont do the job keeping hair out of my face and off my neck. I made this pattern up in cottonsince were in the middle of summerbut made it slightly shorter. The original design is just a little too wide, but stretched out, it was perfect!

What a pretty stylish ear warmer. It sure beTs a pair of ear muffs. I am going to make a bunch for my relatives who live in the gold areas of the country. Those buttons gave me an idea. Maybe large square glass buttons that look like diamonds will convince my aunt to wear it.

I like the decorative square buttons she used on the earwarmer headband. I will have to look for some at my local craft store. They are quite unique. This is a combo project that is both practical and very stylish depending on your dress style and what area of the country you live in.
