I thought for sure I had already commented on this but looking back through my notes this is a new project after all. Since its from Yarnspirations, you can find the original post here where its available as a free download https//www.yarnspirations.com/caron-holiday-stripe == s-cowl/CAC0110-007643M.html#q=crochetcowlprefn1=br == andsz=12start=24prefv1=Bernat%7CCaron Im looking forward to working this up with the new Caron yarn because since theyve started making it in Turkey, it has a softer texture.

There is no picture showing for this project and since the pattern is shown in its entirety on this page, there is no link to click to see a picture on the designers site. Such a shame that the photo got lost during the updating of the site. Maybe an admin could fix this post with a picture?

I wouldn't mind wearing that Striped Peppermint Cowl during the Christmas season. It looks elegant in just red and white. The size of the white stripe on the sides are just enough to accentuate the red body of the whole scarf. You could make this wider and longer as needed.

Why isn't there a picture of this? I really dislike looking at a pattern without a picture. Won't make this without seeing it first!

Unfortunately, there are many patterns on here right now that are like this. I assume they made some changes in the database and have yet to relink all of the images. It can take quite a while with a collection as large as this. If you scroll down to the section that shows you what you have already viewed, quite often the image for the pattern is there. It is smaller, but at least it gives you something to see.

This really looks like a candy cane! It works up using single crochets and chain one stitches. You should be confident in changing colors, though, because you'll be doing quite a bit of that. But in the end it'll be worth it. I think this would make a great gift!
