OMG these are ADORABLE! I can think of just the perfect colorful yarn that could be used for small projects like this one- The Colorwheel yarn at Michaels. Only problem is it's been discontinued and all you are able to find is random leftover colors in the clearance section. Maybe the new 175 basics yarn? I think that is what it is called. Great decor for the tree, as a gift topper, a gift card holder, or a tree/mantle garland!

These wonderful little stockings are a real treat! The author (not a native English speaker) provides lots of encouragement along with a project chart and well photographed step by step instructions. Ive made heeled-socks, booties, and stockings, so I appreciated how she dissected the basic sock into parts. That allows the reader to customize the project to suit themselves.

Here comes those precious three word description that I adore. Cute, easy and inexpensive. Yes, tree decorations, of course but also gift tags and what about gift card holders? These are great and reading the directions I see how easy and fast they will be to make. Thank you for sharing.

These are the sweetest little stockings! I can imagine many of these made up in Christmas colours and filled with candy canes and hung up all over the tree! These would also make excellent gifts for your children's favourite teachers with a sweet treat inside! They might also look cute made in thicker yarn and hung on the bannister!

I hope you don't mind but for my own ease of use of this pattern (can't wait to make some) I translated this like a USA pattern easier to read resizing pics etc and put it into pdf format so if you would like copies of what I did please let me know and I will send it on to you

These are adorable and super easy. I think I'm going to make them for my coworkers for the holidays (and tailor the color scheme to their personalities). Siswalker, I haven't tried downloading to Pdf, but just got the instructions from the link above. There's a lot of text but at least it's in English too (unless the author just recently added the English). Hope you managed to get the instructions sorted! This project is too cute to miss out on. :o)
