I have not been a fan of granny squares before, but with this pattern for the Granny Square Angel Ornament I have a change of mind. Love the look of this angel! This is a great written and picture tutorial, walking you step by step. Thank you for sharing this free crochet angel ornament pattern.

Since my senior ladies are pretty well versed in how to work Granny Squares, Im including this sweet little project in my Christmas ornament round up for this Wednesdays meeting. However I will be bringing some pre-painted round wooden doll head beads in lieu of them making the amigurumi ball. Ive gotten a few of them to make larger crocheted balls but most of them dont want to tackle anything that small.

What an awesome and lovely angel design. Thank you so much for sharing. I came online looking for a different angel and this one. I love it. This will be my next crocheted angel. I love angels and crocheting. I am going to make a few to use as a tree ornament and a few to put at my front window, that way they can be used after Christmas.
