I love handcrafted Christmas ornaments because they are little presents just by themselves. When I went to the designers site, I was thrilled by the assortment shes assembled! Now I want to work them all, not just this simple stuffed square. I know a couple of the ornaments have shown up on AllFreeCrochet, but I hope the rest of them are posted soon!

There once was a yarn called Colorwheel and it was sold at Michaels stores. They had an array of about two dozen colors. Now that it is discontinued, I went out shopping and ended up at Hobby Lobby- and found a .99 craft yarn that would be perfect for making this ornaments! Barring that, the "I Love This Yarn" cotton is another excellent choice because there are tons of fashion colors. What a cute "gift" to put ON the tree!

Is the Hobby Lobby yarn a full 4 oz skein? We're getting a store that should be open this spring. Otherwise, I get little 1 oz samples at AC Moore.
