I have a question before starting this what are the finished dimensions for the pattern as written?

Hi carolnageldp 12959 06, which pattern are you hoping to find the dimensions for? If you let us know, we'll see if we can help. - Editors of AllFreeCrochet

I'm making the shrug and ear warmer. Anyone would love to have them. Thanks

I would crochet my mom a set of stairs, from heaven to earth, in gold lame threads.

I love all of these patterns. Trouble is I find something I like and if I don't print out the pattern right away then I can't find it again!

My Mother, who was an avid crocheter (and who taught me) has also passed away. But, I want to tell you all a funny story about her crocheting. She began making an afghan from leftover yarn in many colors. I told her the colors didn't go together very well and she said she thought they looked just fine. Then, after having cataracts removed from both eyes, she said, "This is the worst looking thing I've ever seen!" She could finally see that the colors indeed did NOT go well together. She got rid of it! We laughed and laughed about it for years. She would have loved All Free Crochet! (as I do)

Good ideas for the Three Rivers Crochet (Pittsburgh) Holiday Sale coming up in December 2013. My mother too has passed away; her mother, my Gram, made us loads of afghans which we use to this day.

The mermaid cardigan. I just love the look!

i would dearly love to make anything for my mother but sadly she passed a year ago. The last thing i did make for her was an afghan with bowties on it , she loved it . When she passed i gave it to her best friend who was Godsend to us during her illness.

If my mom were alive, I would make her the Lace Ripple Afghan, even though she could have made it better than I. I would make it in shades of blue and purple. She liked to make ripple afghans.

If my mom were still alive, I would make the Mermaid Filigree Cardigan. I would do it in a beautiful soft blue.

I'd love to make my mother the beautiful Mermaid Filigree Cardigan (shown in green). I think it would be beautiful in a soft pink. Love these patterns!!

Love this site....I hope to make myself a shawl...just for me!

My mom is passed but I thought of her when designing this cowl/shrug and it is what I would have given her if she were still with me. I will be making one for my mother in law! http://cre8tioncrochet.com/2013/07/bulky-stacked-shell-cowl-and- shrug/

I would make her a nice comforter for her bed.

I am going to make my Mom the From The Top Down Shawl (from the EBook - 16 Crochet Shawl Patterns). It is exactly what she wants and she is going to love it.

If she were still with me I'd love to make her a shawl or nice lap blanket. She loved cuddling under a lap blanket/afghan when watching a good movie or reading her book.
