  • 3.5mm crochet hook
  • Sport weight yarn

Instructions

  1. Ch 26

  2. Row 1: 1 Hdc in the 2nd chain from the hook, Mark the stitch with a stitch marker, 1 Sc in each stitch across. 24 stitches

  3. Row 2: Ch 2, 2 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Hdc in the next 8 stitches, 2 Hdc in each of the next 6 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 8 stitches, 2 Hdc in the last stitch. 32 stitches.

  4. Row 3: Ch 2, 2 Hdc in the 1st stitch, mark the very first stitch, 1 Hdc in the next 30 stitches, 2 Hdc in the last stitch, finish the last Hdc with SS with colour B 34 stitches.

  5. Row 4: 1 Sc in the front loop only of the 1st stitches, mark stitch, 1 SC in the front loops only in each stitch across 34 stitches.

  6. Row 5: Ch 1, 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 8 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, Dc2tog 4 times, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 9 stitches. 30 stitches.

  7. Row 6: Ch 1, 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 8 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches , Dc2tog 2 times, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 9 stitches. 28 stitches.

  8. Row 7: Ch 1, 1 Sc in the 1st stitch, mark stitch, 1 Sc in the next 7 stitches, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches , Dc2tog 2 times, 1 Hdc in the next 4 stitches, 1 Sc in the last 8 stitches. 26 stitches.

  9. Row 8: Ch 2, 1 Hdc in 1st stitch , mark stitch, 1 Hdc in all stitches across. 26 stitches.

  10. Row 9: Ch 2, FPDC around the 1st Hdc of previous row, BPDC around the next stitch *FPDC in next stitch, BPDC in next stitch*. Repeat across row. End with BPDC, 26 stitches.

    Note: If you have trouble with FPDC and BPDC. You can work rows of double crochet instead.

  11. Row 10: Repeat row 9 and cut yarn.

Finishing

With right sides facing, sew up seam and weave in ends.
