"Introduction The Bookmark is a fantastic first crochet or crochet lace project. It helps you to learn basic stitches and techniques while making a lovely project to gift- it would make a fantastic stocking filler! Skills required Chain, slip stitch (sl st), double crochet (dc), shell (sh), blocking. Notes The bookmark is worked in rows from bottom up. Starting ch 3 counts as 1st dc. Instructions enclosed in [] indicate stitches that are worked into the same space or st. Optional: Colours can be changed according to individual preference on the last dc of a row by yrh and pull through 2 in new colour. "
