Mermaid Towel and Washcloth Set

"Mermaids are the perfect theme for a bathroom - and the Mermaid Towel and Washcloth Set is a great way to get this fun and fabulous look! So it’s time to make the crochet Mermaid Bathroom Set - free on Moogly! The stitch pattern for the free crochet Mermaid Towel is easier than it looks - and a tutorial is on the way! The pattern for the Washcloth is quite simple, but it compliments the towel well - and stands up on its own too. I love this mermaid towel and washcloth set. It is definitely on trend with what everyone is interested in these days, which is wonderful. This is a great set to give anyone, be it a new mother or a new homeowner. I love that the creator also gives instructions on if you want to make a bath mat to go with this set.

Right on trend and pleasing for a little girl's bathroom or for Mommy herself to enjoy! There are lots of mermaid patterns popping up all around, and none of them (that I have seen) are for a face cloth, towel, and an option to make a matching bath mat! Then, throw into the mix a painted mermaid tail soap dispenser that I am sure she felt compelled to do to complete the set! LOVE

What an unusual design for a hand towel! The designer recommends Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie but I havent found that yet. Since its also 100% cotton, I would think that any similar cotton yarn would work. Both the towel and washcloth are available as a print out or .pdf download, and under the Hints and Tutorials header, the designer has included an excellent instructional video as well.
