I have made tissue covers for both of my bathrooms. They sit on the back of the toilets and make the bathrooms very different. Visitors to my house always ask me where I got the covers which of course I tell them I made them.

If youre looking for a retro project, you cant get any more retro than this! When you click on the pattern link, it takes you directly to a .pdf download of the pattern. The instructions are simple enough, but there arent any photos except for how to work the flower. My senior ladies will certainly appreciate this project!

This is an excellent basic pattern to use to make any one of dozens of covers. It's very easy and will come together very quickly. You can change colors, put a big button in the middle of the flower , in the back side and them make more in different colors and change them out by unbuttoning them from the cover. colors

These would be wonderful to put in a bathroom-theme gift basket! Turn this tissue cover upside down, add on a handle and you'd have a cute Easter basket etc.

I think someone needs to answer koloughlin's question, and also post a picture of the finished project.

On the Toilet Tissue Cover I have a question. I am confused on row 11: it says dc in each stitch, but join last two scs tog(this means single crochets together I think, but the whole row is double crochet, how is this? Can someone clarify this for me please?

@ billandfaye2039 6927240: This pattern is available as a PDF document, so you will need a PDF reader to view and print it. You can download one for free from Adobe Acrobat at http://get.adobe.com/reader/. Once you have downloaded the reader and opened the pattern, you should be able to print easily. Hope this helps! -- Editors of AllFreeCrochet
