"The Bubble Scrubbie crochet pattern is a quick and fun textured project to work up for gifts or to keep for yourself. Fill a gift basket with a few scrubbies and some bath soap for a quick friend gift. Create a cleaning kit for your kitchen or bathroom with a few of these handy scrubbies for easy use. It uses 60-80 yards of cotton yarn to make a 4" or 5" scrubby. A great way to use up that leftover yarn in your stash!"
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet GaugeNo need to worry about gauge. Gauge checks are given within the pattern though you can easily create larger or smaller finished scrubbies by adjusting your hook size
Finished Size4" & 5" diameter
Materials List
- 40-60 yards Creme de la Creme cotton or similar
- Size H crochet hook

This bubble scrubbie pattern is such a great idea! When I make scrubbies for the kitchen I usually use nylon tulle, but I think I will try this pattern because it uses cotton yarn instead. Cotton is easier to find in stores than tulle, and there are a bunch of awesome colors to choose from.

These are wonderful versatile little scrubbies! I love that the designer presents two different sizes AND you can still alter these even further by changing out what hooks and yarn you use. What isnt fully explained is that these arent flat but rather more like an empty sphere or pouch. You could even slip bits of leftover soap inside to make them even more useful.

As the president of the neighborhood home association, it is my responsibility to provide gift baskets for the new neighbors. I attempt to place something in each homeowners basket that each member of the home would like. These go over well with the ladies of the house.

Thanks for the multiple sizes for these bubble scrubbies. I love to have these when I have the opportunity to treat myself to a at home spa day. With these being made from yarn instead of tossing them as you would a store bought scrubbie, these can be washed.
