"The Phoenix Wrap is a versatile, rectangular shawl that can be worn in many different ways. The pattern is available in 3 parts. Finished Size Completed Wrap: Approximately 74.5” (189 cm) long x 16.5” (42 cm) wide, unblocked. Materials List Lion Brand Jeans yarn (100% acrylic, 3.5 oz/100 g/246 yd/225 m) – 2 skeins each in 150 Vintage (CA), 153 Stovepipe (CB), and 108 Brand New (CC), or approximately 465 yd (425 m) in each of 3 colors in any medium weight yarn. US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge. Yarn needle. Stitch markers. Gauge 17 hdcBL = 4” (10 cm). Exact gauge is not critical for this project."

My first time to see this kind of wrap. This is one wrap that we have to learn to crochet because it is unique and easy to make. Oh yes, this style is very appropriate for the size plus ladies.

My newest yarn that I have started using just this weekend- the Lion Brand Jeans yarn! It is so soft. The "Topstitch" color looks like caramels. I am making my own "Saturday Sweater" from it. But wow, the amazing detail on this Phoenix Wrap is just stunning. The way the colors work together to give a tonal effect with a darker contrast mixed in there for good measure. I appreciate it is offered in 4 ( I think) parts to make it easier to digest.
