This is such an interesting project. The interesting texture pattern is made even more so by working the bottom third of the shawl perpendicular to the original base. Each section is worked in repetitive rows, so it goes pretty fast once you get the rhythm. I dont know if I would choose the colors, but the open lacy stitch pattern shines through loud and clear.

If the colors on this Irish pub shawl do not scream spring and summer, I just do not know what colors will do that for you. I love the "edge" design here. That element alone really makes this shawl stand out. It is great to know that with the fabulous Caron Cakes I have easily have too shawl in a jiffy.

Is is not amazing what you can create with these wonderful self stripping yarns? This Irish Pub Shawl is just delicious and I love the edge that was applied to this one. I know I could whip this up really quickly once I learn the stitch. I love this Blueberry Kiwi color.

This is a beautiful shawl. I like the detail of the stitches. Not crazy either about the colors shown but it does show off the shawl. I like shawls you can really wrap around your body and this one looks like it well. Good pattern. Will work up faster than it looks. Thank you.

This is really sizeable! For a plus size girl, a large wrap like this is much appreciated. I don't favor this color combo too much, though- have always seen it at Michael's and it just didn't call to me. Doesn't matter, though, because there are so many others to choose from. I have used no less than four. It's a pretty chunky worsted weight that works up super soft and squishy!
