One of the advantages of using a strap and button type of cup cozy is that it allows for mugs with handles. This version uses the basic Single Crochet with a slight twist by including the Spike Stitch. The designer includes a link to an extremely well written and illustrated explanation of this stitch, so dont be intimidated even if youre a Beginner.
