"The Christmas Pine Tree Skirt is a great way to add an extra special touch to your holiday decor. It has a great texture and is beautiful in many colors. Don't settle for the limited selection of tree skirts from the store! Have fun, choose your own colors to decorate with and wow everyone with your crochet talent! This pattern uses about 1500 yards of Deborah Norville Everyday yarn and 4- 1" Barrel buttons. Skill level: Intermediate though there are many stitch placement photos throughout the pattern to help."

What an unusual design! I love the continuous motif of the Pine Trees dancing around the skirt. The colors give it such a crisp clean look, just like a forest of pines in a field of snow. I can see why this is an Intermediate project, but the designer has provided plenty of photos. That always gives me confidence to try a project, even if its a stitch Ive never worked before.
