Tried this numerous times also and did not even come close!! They are really cute but pattern needs to be redone!!

I think someone did not test this pattern before posting it. It does not make the pictured chicks

I couldn't figure this out either - I've tried it 4 times and it doesn't make sense. I hope someone can clear it up because these are really cute.
