"You will love this vibrant & furry Cheshire Cat Hat! It would be perfect to wear with a Halloween costume or just to wear all winter long to keep warm. It's cute enough for a child but adults can wear this hat, too! I decided to go with the colors of the original Cheshire cat but you could always use blue and gray if you want your costume to resemble the Cheshire Cat from the newer version of Alice in Wonderland."

This Cheshire Cat hat pattern is super cute. I love the little cat ears at the top. This would be a great gift for any cat lover in your life, young and old alike. I am sure my sister in law would love something like this. If you change the colors you could easily make it for a boy also.

The original listing has the hat as an entirely separate project from the dress. Now the dress listing has disappeared (ironically like the Cheshire Cat himself), but the link to the dress remains. I personally dont have a problem with the color change the designer choseif there is a boy cat, there must logically be a girl, too. Right?
