"This “delicious” hat is great for a fall photo shoot for baby. Made with Caron’s Simply soft with both a 4.0mm and a 5.0mm hook. It can be adjusted to fit any size and can be worked in either red or green, or even yellow. Can also be easily adapted to a pumpkin hat by simply making the stem shorter and/or wider (adding more stitches) and even by doing a fpc in every increasing stitch and then traveling through the rest of the piece. Enjoy."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook, H/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

This hat is so adorable! The designer says she created it for a newborn photo shoot, but its cute enough to wear other times, too. I love the little touches like the leaves, and when I work it up, Im going to add a happy little worm appliqu. Remember apples come in other colors besides red, too. I also know a few rather wacky teachers who wouldnt mind an adult version to wear the first day of school!

I do like this for those baby photo shoots. But, a cute beanie is not only for a photo shoot! I for one, think that a beanie like this would be a great buy for a shopper at a craft fair. It requires not very much yarn, therefore you keep your profit margin high. I am willing to bet that it is so fun to make, too!
