This cocoon and hat set make excellent baby shower gifts. Not only do they keep baby warm and snuggled, they offer all the benefits of a blanket, but without all the extra bulk. Just keep in mind that these cocoons are not meant to keep baby in for sleeping alone. It would be a good idea to supervise baby when its in use.

Is there a gauge for this I have crochet looser than most people so I need to have a gauge to be able to get at least close to the right size
