Boho Braided Bucket Bag

"The Boho Braided Bucket Bag is a quick and easy project that creates a cute and unique little purse. Instead of toting an enormous bag everywhere you go, throw a few essentials into this bag and run out the door! It easily can hold a water bottle, cell phone, keys and much more! This pattern uses chains, single crochets, double crochets and slip stitches. The bottom is a flat round, which also helps with your bag being able to stand up when you're not using it."

She's really created something special with this bag. At first glance, I thought the bag was made out of jute, like a macrame cording. It would be great like that, but it is just as cute using an economy acrylic yarn. I am thinking that I could make at least 3-4 of these bags with one big skein. Her idea of braiding the closure/handle just adds durability and ups the style quotient.

I can really relate to this moms dilemma in trying to hustle kids out the door. This little bucket bag is a great solution to her only needing to carry a few essentials. You could almost think of it as a mini Bug Out Bag! The instructions are nicely written and photographed although I would start with a Magic Circle instead of the suggested chain method.
