Serrana the Mermaid

"Meet my new friend Serrana! This sweet, 19-inch doll is sure to delight mermaid fans and amigurumi enthusiasts alike. She’s a little bit sassy, completely adorable, and a whole lot of fun to make. Serrana got her name from a 6-year-old buddy of mine. I’ve been told her full name is Serrana Charlotte Christian. It's an experienced skill level pattern, but the instructions are detailed enough that an advanced beginner should have success with it. There are also 4 video tutorials for the trickier bits!"

Serrana the Mermaid works up to be a 19" doll. With so much detail to the face, I am sure Serrana will become a very important part of the family in no time. I love the long "blond" hair but I am partial to the fiery red like a certain princess mermaid. I plan on looking for something in that shade to make my mermaid. Thanks for the wonderfully detailed free pattern.

It is that time of the year when we find ourselves heading out to the beach or at least the pool. This adorable amigurumi pattern of Serrana the mermaid would be a great tag along friend for your little one. At 19 inches I can see her being used as more than a friend but a pillow buddy as well. Thanks for the free pattern.

This is so sweet. I read the directions and I can handle them. They are very well written and joule be easy to follow. I have to add red lips though because she looks like a mummy to me. Plus my grand daughter will be quick to point out the belly button, she sats mermaids are fish, so no belly button!

Oh goodness this one will test my crochet and craft skills forsure. But this is a must for me to make. I have 4 Granddaughters who will love one of these cute Serrana the Mermaid doll. After reading the written pattern I'm sure I can do this. I love the the eyes and the face sculpting for this. It's new to me But I love the idea.. There are some clear pictures showing how to do it and a few links to show things as well. I'm going to have fun making these.. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet amigurumi crochet pattern.

My now grown daughter was also crazy about mermaids, so I can relate! In addition to looking at this from a crochet perspective, Im also a long time cloth doll maker. This designers instruction and photos are excellent in explaining how to mold the dolls face. This is what really gives personality to a doll, so Im happy she spent so much time addressing this.
