Some of you may or may not know that Ray Parker, Jr. was the writer and performer of the film Ghostbusters theme song from the 1984 version. I can still here the catchphrase "Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters" and I ain't afraid of no ghost. I know he would smile at this amigurumi project because I sure did.

Now I am from the era of the original ghost busters and I think that this crochet I ain't fraid of no ghost is a must if you enjoyed the original movie as I much as I did. With Halloween just around the corner, this has a few implications of its own. Total measure around 5 inches this could easily become a part of a ghost busting Halloween costume.

Ghostbusters is one of our familys all time favorite movies, and most of my children (and now the grandchildren) can quote it verbatim. Wouldnt this make a clever addition to giving someone the DVD or Bluray? Even if you dont want to work up the NO symbol, that little ghost is adorable all by itself. Im going to see if I can expand the pattern to make it a little bit larger.
