If you call this a camping blanket, what do your regular house hold blankets look like? I would never take this one out of the house. It is beautiful.

This is a beautiful blanket pattern and it does have a lot of flair in the design. I think of Native American design when I see this pattern and with the option to change the colors to suite the individual, this could easily be the next family favorite blanket.

Has anyone used this yarn before? I see that the pattern is from a couple of years ago, so it leaves me wondering if this yarn is still available- or if it is now discontinued. Yarn companies change their yarn offerings quite often! I would love to give this color work tapestry design a go. I notice that the colors are carried along the back and it does show through the white. Maybe I would use a taupe as the main color? But the rest of the color work would not not "POP" as much!

I really like this Modern Camping Blanket Pattern. I am going to try this one, I have only made book marks using charts, so this will be a little more of a challenging pattern for me. I really like the looks and color of this one. I'm hopping my years of crocheting will help me on doing this one. Thank you for this beautiful free pattern.
