Crochet Gauge28 sts = 4” (10 cm) in pattern before blocking. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.

Materials List

  • Red Heart Boutique Swanky (62% acrylic/38% polyester, 3.5 oz/100 g/202 yd/185 m) – 1 skein in 9530 Berry Glamorous, or approximately 202 yd (185 m) in any medium weight yarn.
  • US Size H/5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • Yarn needle.

This quick project can be used as either a shawl or even a scarf. The author suggests using a sparkly yarn, and this would be very attractive for an evening accessory. But most any other basic yarn would work up as well. There arent any fancy stitches in this project, so it would be dependent on the yarn for any special look.
