Maple Forest Wrap

search

"The Maple Forest Wrap is an easy to crochet shawl that is made up of an easy to remember pattern repeat, resulting in an open lace pattern. This shawl is perfect for all seasons and works up very quickly. It is very beginner-friendly as the only techniques you need to crochet this project include chaining and double crochet. Three tassels on the ends complete the look. Works with any worsted weight yarn in either a solid or a color changing yarn."

I am becoming a fan of wraps. I have a large stash of patterns saved in my All Free Crochet account and I have decided to select my favorite top five to make. This one is going on the short list. I love the tassel feature and the open weave. This will allow me to wear it from fall and winter.

This is such a pretty wrap. I really love the added fringes on all three corners. This maple forest wrap will be appropriate for those cool days of fall when we are out in nature enjoying watching the leaves change colors. Looks like the model has a head start on us, lol.

This is such a nice looking shawl. It appears to be quite an easy design to make too. I like that it has the quality of a dressy touch for a nice evening look or a down-to-earth wrap for every day. Colors will make the difference and mood for the type of outfit the shawl will accessorize. I'd probably choose earth tones for an every day look. What would you select?

The Maple Forest Wrap is considerable smaller than most of the other triangle shawls I tend to make. Mine are usually pretty large and I tend to have a LOT of material to wrap around the neck. The beauty of this design is that it is compact. The addition of the tassels give it a slight bohemian earth girl vibe. I think you could trim it in black to make it pop!
