Cranberry Chill Wrap

"This elegant Cranberry Chill Wrap will look stunning when paired with an evening dress or a simple pair of jeans! It's an easy pattern and you can customize the length and colors to your own specifications---or someone else's if you are giving it as a gift. This pattern uses a four row repeat. Two of rows are single crochets only. One row is V-stitches and the last row is cluster stitches. The wrap used in this example is 88" long, which is long even for a tall woman, but you can easily shorten the shawl by crocheting less rows."

This is a wonderful project for me because I dont even need to think about appropriate color combinations! I dont have this specific brand of yarn, but I do have plenty of yarn thats very close in color. I also appreciate the designers tips about adjusting the size. If its long on her and shes 5ft 8in, imagine how it would be on me at a measly 5ft 3in.

The combination of the V stitch, cluster stitch, and single crochet makes this wrap look so intricate. I am seeing more shawls with scalloped edging and I love it. Gives the shawl a more sophisticated and polished look. The length will come in handy when sitting down you could cover your lap for added warmth.

This wrap looks very easy to make and looks like it would be beginner friendly. Love the combinations of the colors of yarn used in this project. The scarf is pretty long, but I am guessing if you are a more advanced crocheter then you can reduce the amount of rows in each striped section to shorten the piece.
