Snow Angel Scarf

By: Krista Winters from

This clean and simple crochet pattern is a classic design that will blend right into anyone's wardrobe. This white Snow Angel Scarf features the bobble stitch (also known as the popcorn stitch), which is known for adding nice texture to your crochet patterns. Wrap this white scarf around your neck this winter and you'll feel like a snow angel everywhere you go. It's an easy crochet scarf to make using just two skeins of your favorite worsted weight cotton yarn.

I was unable to access or even view the pattern for this scarf because the website is not available at this time. I am attaching a photo of what I was greeted with when I clicked your link to get the pattern. Hopefully it is just a temporary glitch and it will be back soon as shown.

The bobble stitch looks really lovely on this scarf! I haven't tried it before, but it seems easy enough for an advanced beginner like myself.

This looks like the perfect scarf for one of my friends who lives in the north! Pretty and warm! The perfect Christmas gift!!! I'll also get to add the bobble stitch to my repertoire. I guess now I'll have to decide on a color....maybe light caramel. Thanks for the multiples option and the free pattern!

This is the easiest pattern I have run across in a while. I need a lot of Christmas presents for different people from distant family to friends to coworkers and cant afford to spend much time or money on so many gifts. These are easy and fast AND affordable. Great bobble stitch scarf.

Despite looking like a Yarn Hog (as Bobble projects tend to be), this one actually doesnt look that bad. The designer has the crafter only working three Double Crochets to form the Bobble. She used cotton (I understand completely about the wool), but Ill be using regular acrylic worsted. Some brands tend to be a little thicker and works better with the J size hook she recommends. I love the tip about using a tape measure to figure out the length, too!

This Snow Angel Scarf is so sweet! I love the look of the bobble stitch and a scarf made of nothing but bobbles will be so warm. I like that the pattern is using cotton yarn to make it extra soft and warm. The written pattern is well written and easy to follow, great for anyone wanting a quick easy project. This scarf will make a great gift, but must have to keep one for myself. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

This looks like a really warm and soft scarf. I like the popcorn stitch. It makes a nice thick, cushy fabric. This scarf could have so many different looks to it, just by changing the yarn type. I think I will be making up a bunch of these to give as gifts at Christmas.

This looks like it's going to make a stunning winter scarf. I can't wait to make it for gifts. On to the yarn store I go tomorrow! Thanks for the great free pattern.

I can't wait to try this pattern out, and I think it would work with so many different colors! I like the popcorn stitch also and I haven't worked it in a while so this will be a great project for me.

I'm working on this in black because that is what someone ordered. However, it doesn't look like this. :/ I'm wondering if you're supposed to be working through both loops or just the front or back one. Please help! Thanks.

Work through both loops! Good luck!

The name "Snow angel" kind of implies this might be an angel pattern - not just a plain white scarf.
