Serenity Mandala and Dreamcatcher

"A quick and thoughtful, handmade gift that brings joy and peace all year long, the Serenity Mandala Wall Hanging Crochet project is the perfect gift! Make one for yourself, and anyone on your list! Follow along the chart or the line by line instructions to whip up this project in no time. The chart includes several more rounds than are shown on the finished project, to be sure your mandala will fit whatever size ring you may find. And there are several video tutorials to follow along for this pattern as well. They are embedded in the free pattern page and also available on Kristin Omdahl's YouTube Channel. Use this mandala motif for afghans, shawls, or a wrap, too! I would love to wrap myself in this gorgeous color work. Be So Serene Sampler Kit has 8 hand dyed colors and is enough yarn to make the mandala motif and the fringe for one project. Please refer to How To Crochet page on KristinOmdahl.com for video tutorials and glossary definitions for every stitch used in this pattern."

Boy does this project take me back to my hippie days. I made several using macram, but never crochet. Right off the bat, if youre going to tackle this one, you MUST take advantage of the download. Thats the only way to print out that chart. Secondly, watch the embedded videos the designer has provided. The stitches arent tricky, but the overall pattern is a little complex.
