"The Baby Bat Costume is a onesie and hat set perfect for Halloween! This set is sized for 6 and 12 months with more sizes in the works. It is an intermediate level pattern due to the ribbing and shaping. It features snap tape closures at the crotch and shoulder to help get baby in and out. The wings and ears for the hat are crocheted separately and attached. The body of the onesie and hat are completely done in sc."
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook, J/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge16 sts and 20 rows = 4” [10 cm] in sc with larger hook
Finished SizeOnesie: 6 (12) months, 17 (18)” chest; Hat: Baby (Toddler), 14 (16)” head circumference

This is such a cute idea, and that hat would probably work better than trying to keep Baby in any sort of mask. The designer goes into great detail with this entire outfit. If you wanted to cheat and not work the entire onesie, you could take a stained one, dye it black, and just add the batwings under the arms. For a toddler, a black sweatsuit would work, too.
