Pineapple Stitch Beanie

Pineapple Stitch Beanie

This Pineapple Stitch Beanie will be your best friend on bad hair days this summer. It's snug, light, and cute. After you've made this crochet beanie pattern, you'll have the perfect cover-up for outdoor exercise, too. Choose any color yarn for this Red Heart pattern, but we think summery colors look great. We love the light blues of summer skies, and fiery sunset reds. This quick pattern takes only 16 rounds, so you'll want to make more for friends and family.

I really, really like this beanie. Because of the open work design, its probably better suited for women and girls than for the guys, even if you chose the appropriate colors. Sara gives extremely clear instructions and highlights those with photos showing the critical stages. I love all the different variations, but I have to say that its a lot harder to see the texture pattern with the variegated yarn. This does seem to work better with solid color yarn.
