Skills Used Basic crochet stitches: chain, double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch Crocheting flat in rows, crocheting in the round Crocheting the back loop (pattern includes link to video tutorial) Seaming (pattern includes link to photo tutorial) Cinching closed (pattern includes photo tutorial) Special stitch: HBdc (pattern includes written instructions and link to video tutorial) Skill Level Easy Finished Sizes Newborn (0-3 Months, 3-6 Months, 6-12 Months, Toddler, Child, Teen/Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large). Photographed sample is Teen/Adult Small. Height measurements do not include pom pom. Nelsonwood US Size H-8/5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge. Nelsonwood US Size I-9/5.5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge. Yarn needle. Clover Extra Large Pom Pom Maker (optional). Gauge 10 scBL = 2.25” (6 cm) in pattern for Hat Band using smaller hook. 12 HBdc = 4” (10 cm) using larger hook. For best fit, always check your gauge."
