"Includes instructions for 6", 9" and 12" square. Photo tutorial also included. The Orange Explosion Dishcloth is the 32nd dishcloth in the Let’s Learn a New Crochet Stitch Pattern, Kitchen Edition. 4 sizes have been included; along with the stitch multiple to allow you to resize this to any size project. This stitch pattern is easy enough for a determined beginner and uses only ch, sc and dc stitches (U.S. Crochet Terms). This close scallop stitch, aka as a fan stitch is perfect for baby blankets and baby items as it has a soft and pretty texture without open gaps between the sets of scallops."

This is a very nice project. It's very easy. If you can work a chain, a single and double crochet, than you can make it. It's so cute. Since there are no gaps between the scallops, it will be a nice comfy, warm cover. I would make it in the large squares.

Although its presented as a project, this is actually an opportunity to learn a new stitch. The designer takes you row by row with annotated photos describing how to work this supremely useful stitch sequence. The information is downloadable, and Ive already sent it to my Tutorial file. In addition to this project, she also refers to it in one of her scarf patterns. Keep this one handy!

I love home made dishcloths and this Orange Explosion Dishcloth is definitely on my list of must haves. This is a well written and easy to follow pattern that anyone can create. There are some great pictures showing how to do this one and they are very clear. I'm thinking of making mine out of a cotton yarn for better rensing of the soap. I love this and will make some for a host gift. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
