Forever Love Roses

"Please note - This pattern is in UK terms with US terms in parentheses. Roses are the perfect gift for Valentine's Day or special occasions and nothing says 'I Love You!' more than something handmade that can be kept forever. The roses are made by crocheting each petal, working in the round, and the sewing them together. If you have any difficulties or would like me to add more photos for guidance, leave a comment below and I will endeavor to respond as quickly as I can. I hope this brings you creative joy and inspiration! Let's get yarning!"

NotesFor each petal, work continuously round, do not slip stitch to join rounds. Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round.

This is such a lovely rose. I volunteer at a local nursing home where they are not allowed to have real flowers due to possible allergic reaction. This is the perfect answer to that. I can make one for every lady resident and put smiles on their faces. That's the best payment.

Beautiful rose, just like the rose from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast. These roses are easier to take care of than real roses i.e. they require no watering and they wont die. Could use a few of these on my desk at work to make it a little more cheerful.

I'm am going to try this Forever Love Roses pattern. I'll be using a H hook to make them smaller. I'm hoping it works out, I'd like to make a lot of them if it does for my daughters wedding. They would make a nice table centerpiece. I make roses with gum paste so I have a good idea on how to put them together. The pattern is definitely written for the intermediate crocheter. It could use more detail, but I get it. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I like the rose, but Im not overly excited by the vase. I was very surprised by the authors choice to use a size J hookthats going to make one good sized rose! Its easy enough to make as the petals are all the same size. The assembly probably could use a few more photos, but there are enough to get the jist of that youre supposed to do.
