Buttoned Tassel Bookmark/Bookthong
This is the perfect crochet pattern for a beginner. It's nice and easy that allows you to make multiple bookmarks. A steel crochet hook is requested along with a novelty button with shank.
Crochet Hook7 or 1.65 mm hook (steel)
Yarn Weight(0) Lace (33-40 stitches to 4 inches)

This pattern is perfect if you are wanting something easy to pass the time. I love quick and easy projects like this. There are so many different color and button options, you could make one for anyone. It would be the perfect last minute gift for anyone in your life! Thank you for the great pattern!

You cant get much more basic than this projectit is literally a button and some yarn. This would be a wonderful way to use odd or unusual buttons you might have lurking about your sewing box. Every time I go to the fabric store, I see so many interesting buttons, but Ive never really had any use for them. Now maybe I do.
