AllFreeCrochet Helps Celebate American Heart Month

Jimmy Beans Wool and AllFreeCrochet come together to raise heart health awareness and celebration American Heart Month.

February 1, 2014 - Northbrook, Illinois - American Heart Month begins today, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with daily giveaways for our loyal readers. Beginning today, we are hosting a brand new givaway each day on our yarn blog Stitch & Unwind in honor of American Heart Month. We are giving away one copy of Crochet Red each day until February 14, 2014, along with a yarn bouquet that corresponds with a project from within the book.

Crochet Red by Laura Zander is the third book in the successful Stitch Red series. First there was Sew Red and then Knit Red. Now, it’s finally time for crocheters to join the fight against women’s heart disease. Thanks to the the Stitch Red campaign (started by Jimmy Beans Wool founder Laura Zander) and the help of craft celebrities in the yarn and fabric industries, crafting and crochet can actually help fight women's heart disease, too! Crochet Red features a collection of gorgeous crochet patterns designed by a variety of talented designers including Edie Eckman, Robyn Chachula, Kristin Omdahl, and Linda Permann. Read the full review of Crochet Red here.

Head over to Stitch & Unwind today to join the fun and learn more about Crochet Red, and how you can help raise awareness about heart health through crochet. Be sure to enter for your chance to win a copy of Crochet Red + a special yarn bouquet. There's a few winner everyday; it could be you!
