Beautiful. I would just like to commend the designer for this lovely Christmas Bell ornament. This is what will become a family heirloom because of the love you put into it to make this.

When I first saw this project, I wondered how it was reversible. Turned inside out maybe? Could this be worked up as a hat? But when I went to the designers website, I finally saw what she was talking about. I love the idea, but dont really understand why the two different colors of blue. I could see red and green. Still, I appreciate the snowflake chart, and if I dont use is for this project, I certainly will for others.

Have you seen similar crochet or knit ornaments at the stores? They sell for $10 on average, especially for a size like this. A RED bell with a silver snowflake would look amazing, but these are done up in two pretty shades of blue for that classic snowflake look. For me, the waistcoat stitch is not something I have ever done before- it is EASY to do! I almost would like to get started on trying my hand at one of these as soon as possible.

Every year I like to make at least one new item to add to my Christmas decorations. I like to do something impressive as my family has come to expect to see a new item at Christmas. I believe I have located the item I wish to make this year.

Don't be scared away ,thinking this is going to be too hard to make. This is a very well written pattern, it has printed instructions, pictures and even a video to help you along with this. That is what I call an excellent project. Thank you so much for offering this great idea.

Ok. After clicking on the link to go to the designers blog, I see that this bell is an ornament for your Christmas tree. Maybe you would rather hang it from the door knob of your door that visitors use so that when someone comes in they will be greeted with a holiday surprise.
