How to Crochet the Long Stitch

What a nice way to add dimension to this shell stich. My wheels are spinning, thinking of adding a twist to this pattern. The shell could be in one color and the long stich could be in another color. Better yet, to give it a beautiful bohemian vibe, many colors could be used.

I am happy to see this tutorial on How to Crochet the Long Stitch. I have seen this stitch done in a few patterns showing flowers and this stitch never made much sense until now. With the pictures showing how it's done makes a lot of sense. I can now go back and do the patterns I've skipped over. Such a easy stitch, I'm smacking my forehead with a dah!
