Feather and Fan Baby Blanket
Feather and Fan Baby Blanket

Baby blanket crochet patterns are one of the best options when it comes down to trying to pick a handmade gift for a special little one. This Feather and Fan Baby Blanket creates a phenomenal striped wave pattern that uses the straightforward foundation single crochet stitch. Fan-like sections of tight stitches offset with looser open stitches make up the individual rows. If there was a color scheme that could inspire you to hug, it would be this warm mint and gray combination. Lucky for you and the young one, you will have no problem working up this easy crochet baby blanket.

So lovely. The colors are very refreshing. Any mom would love to have this blanket in her baby's nursery. The colors used are so refreshing and relaxing. Will also look great in other pastel color combos.

These colors of mint, aqua and gray are so modern for use in a baby blanket, and I am really loving it. I have seen more than a few using this color combination. This baby blanket is one of the best patterns that I have come across as of late. It is so vintage looking. Adding the vintage stitch pattern with a modern color palette is what sets this blanket apart from the others!

Wow I love the look of this Feather and Fan Baby Blanket! When I first seen it I thought it was just another ripple afghan pattern. After reading the written pattern and watching the video I think this one is so much nicer then the basic ripple. With the 17 stitch repeat you can make this any size you want. A great way to use up my yarn collection. I made a small swatch and it worked out great! I'm looking forward to making a baby blanket using this pattern. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Follow the link to get the crochet pattern for this baby blanket. You will be taken to Persia Lou and there you will find an awesome posting for the pattern. She has included a video tutorial along with the written directions and a lot of pictures. She also fills you in with some background info on the local cause that this blanket was designed for.

Initially it was the colors that caught my eye and then I thought that this would be a lovely blanket for beautiful baby Billy that came into this world to Robyn and James, a month early, just 2 months ago. Winter is approaching us here in South Africa and in my yarn stash I have very similar colors, in lovely soft yarn, so am all set to start crocheting!

Love this pattern! Gorgeous!!!

Oh this is gorgeous! The colors, the pattern. All of it! I would love to make this for baby number two on the way! What a great blanket, to save for their children one day as well. #bestideaever

This is so beautiful! It would be perfect to make for baby. #bestideaever

This color is one of my favorites for summer! I love the striped design, too. It would look adorable in any nursery.
