I know Ive used this stitch before in various project, but Ive never used a formal tutorial on the stitch. I didnt realize there were as many variations as there are, and this excellent video does an amazing job at explaining and illustrating the stitch. I never think to call it the Spike Stitch anyway as the usual version reminds me of an agave plant.

not sure if its my computer, the tutorial is giving me trouble, very slow......
