I will have to look or this pattern again at a later time. The link is not currently working, but I am definitely interested in trying these slippers. With the weather getting colder here, I am looking for some different patterns to keep my feet warm. It is only going to get colder as the months go on!

The designer indicates that the adorable little Mary Jane strap is completely optional, but I think that feature is what really makes this slipper pattern unique! Wouldnt a jeweled button look cute on there as well? Other fancy buttons or pompons would work nicely, too. This simple to work up pattern starts with continuous rounds, so grab those stitch markers and get started.

After reading thru the pattern, it really is easy. I may make up a bunch of these and put the puff paint on the bottoms so they won't be sliding on wood or tile floors. I like having them to take along on trips. They fold and fit nicely into my suitcase, taking up no space at all.
