Triangle Moss Stitch Shawl

"Triangle Moss Stitch Shawl is a modern and one-row-repeat shawl worked worked from the centre top down using a fingering yarn. It’s an adorable triangle shawl crochet pattern written at an easy skill level. Perfect for beginner crocheters and for the moss stitch (aha granite stitch) lovers with beautiful results. Follow the pattern as written or add additional rows to create a larger wrap. Size is completely adjustable by changing the weight of the yarn, size of the hook, or working fewer/more rows of the pattern."

Notes The pattern uses US Terminology. This shawl is worked from the centre top down. You can adjust the length/width of this shawl by adding or removing rows of the pattern. My shawl finished at the 147 row of the pattern.

There is an awesome pictorial tutorial on the moss stitch that I am sure you will all appreciate as much as I did. My belief is that projects with the sc tend to be dense and I love that. The only problem it takes a lot more material to complete. The yarn used here is a little out of my budget for the number of skeins needed. However I will be on the look out for clearance or sales because I am really interested in using this Scheepjes yarn.

There is no doubt that this triangle moss stitch shawl looks machine made. The moss stitch is what give you that look. As much as I love the different colors, I really detest changing the yarn to have that look. I think that this time I will make an exception and go for it because the look of this design and texture would be lost on a single color.
