This dainty feminine confection is just the thing for some of my girly girl granddaughters. The body of the triangle is easy to work open netting, but the deliciously lovely scalloped border frames the project with an elegant ruffled appearance. Of course it has to be pink, but I actually think it would look great in other pastels or even dark solids.

My motto is, you can never have too much pink. My husband just shakes his head when I bring in anything in the shade. He thinks I am obsessed with it and even though he sleeps in my pink boudoir, I know he secretly dislikes it. I promised no more pink in the bedroom but I made no such promises in regards to my wardrobe.

This is a very feminine style. It would look so pretty on a summers evening on a date. The stitch is simple, the directions are well written and easily understand able. I think it would just as nice in a dark burgundy or cranberry for the Fall and early Winter too.

This is such a frilly design and I missed out making it for the Spring and summer of 2018 but I know it will be just as fashionable for next year. I found some yarn on sale the other day at my local hobby store in a pale spring color and I know it will be make this beautiful shawl.

What I like the most about this beautiful feminine triangle wrap scarf is the additional ruffle trim! I never thought of adding that to my triangle wrap scarfs. WOW! It changes from a (sort of) basic piece to something special that I will be able to wear out at night. To make one of these in a sparkle black or a midnight blue (sparkle, too!) would be a great addition to my wardrobe. You cannot go wrong with the Caron Simply Soft. Love!

This is a designer I have been seeing pop up more and more lately, and I have liked every design I have seen. I love that this project uses Caron Simply Soft, since it is inexpensive and has a good amount of yardage. Also, it is really soft compared to other acrylics. I believe a beginner could make this shawl, assuming they could read a pattern, because it uses dc stitches and basic increases. The border is the only thing some may have an issue with, although it really isn't difficult.

With autumn approaching here in South Africa this beautiful shawl is going to be just right for the cooler evenings and days. I love everything about it, the colour, the pattern and the yarn, just gorgeous. And the fact that it is labeled Easy is also good, making it a simple crochet project to pick up and put down between doing other things.
