Fall is Coming Shawl

"I had so many ideas for this summer, I've even finished many projects I had put on hold, and now they only need to be written, and posted. But time says its word, and summer is almost leaving us. So when I received this alize burcum yarn, I envisioned this shawl immediately and began working on it. It's easy to make once you know how to crochet the six petal flower, which by the way, is popular. I incorporated it in this triangle shawl in a way that makes it almost unnoticeable at first glance, then, after a few seconds, you see multi-colored flowers in between the mono repetitive clusters pattern. It's fun. I hope you enjoy making this fall welcoming shawl!"

I like this shawl for the yarn used, the colors, and the overall look of the shawl. The fringes added gave a different flavor. You can opt to have the fringes or not. It's up to you. You have the freedom to do what look you want to achieve in wearing your poncho.

I love shawls and this one is so nice looking with flowers sprinkled through out the pattern. I like that this looks like a poncho, but it's a shawl. The pattern is well written and easy to understand. There are pictures showing how to do a few things. I love the tassels that will help keep the shawl down on the body. I'm looking forward to making this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free shawl pattern.

Well yes, fall is certainly coming- and sooner than we'd all like to admit! We should all get going on making all those ponchos, sweaters and cardis that we have been drooling over all summer but did not work on because it's been too darn hot! Nobody wants to sit with a heavy piece of work sitting on their lap. That heavy and thick tassel fringe really caught my eye. And no, I did not notice those flowers until I looked real close. This looks like a beautiful shawl to wear and give.
