These buttoned style cowls are just so attractive. I like cowls in general but these go beyond a scrunched up look to something far more sophisticated. Rather than the ends being seamed together, the rectangle is folded over and fastened together with the buttons. This is a lovely, repetitive pattern, and well worth the extra time to add the distinctive fringe.

I am happy to find this pretty cowl pattern. I am going to add it to my saved projects list. I do not have a lot of scarves that look like this. It is a more tailored style, meaning it is close fitting- even though it has fringe added for something a little extra special!

This is one of the prettiest cowls I have ever seen. I like every thing about it. The color, the buttons and the fringe. And after reading the directions I love the pattern. It's so simple and easy to follow. Someone is going to get this gorgeous creation for Christmas.
