This 1970's inspired rainbow chevron crochet scarf is work from end to end so at the start of the project you can determine just how long you want the scarf. Of course the width will be determined by the number of rows you work. I love the colors here but I think I have enough yarn stash to create this in a different color combination. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

Black i not a bright color but this is what attracted me to this scarf. Any other bright colors can be added to allow this scarf to be wore with several different outfits and coats.

The colors drew me to this scarf. I love a lot of color. And the wacky in and out direction adds to it. I love making scarves because they are quick, always needed here in NYC and they make good gifts. I also make them for charity and the charity I make things for tell me my colorful and "different" scarves are a big hit. If it brightens up someone's day then I am happy. The pattern is a little confusing but the designer seems to clarify at the end. Thank you.

I really, really dont like the Chevron crochet projects from the 1970s, but to be fair, I was mainly traumatized by afghans and ponchos. This scarf is actually not bad, and with the right color combinations, I can easily see this being a unisex project as well. Id opt for a solid hat in only ONE of the colors if I wanted to make a matching set. Anything more than that would look too clownish.

Awesome scarf. I am a big fan of the 1970s, mostly because that was when I grew up, but the music, the cars, and the clothes were just so awesome during that time. Love the colors she used on this scarf. The zigzag is an easy pattern to make and it is so reminiscent of the afghans everyone had during then too.

This 1970s Inspired Chevron Scarf is so lovely in multicolors but I would like to use this to accessorize a pure black outfit or solid black top. Soooo elegant and chic.
