If you're looking for a prayer shawl or just an everyday shawl then you'll instantly fall in love with the Friendship Shawl. This crochet design is fancy enough to wear for special occasions, but can also be put in your everyday wearables collection. This crocheted shawl is worked in rows with single crochet and double crochet stitches allowing you to work it up quickly. Keep one for yourself and make one for a friend; this particular shawl was made as a prayer shawl for a church program.

To answer the question about the workaround, I am assuming it is the part where the bow is created. Your crochet hook is going to go under the ch 4 space two rows below and you do your sc like you normally do.

There were no instructions on how to do a work around. I have heard of them but have never done one. I really like this shawl. Can you provide instructions.
