Lion Brand Homespun is THE perfect yarn choice for this oversize shawl. I agree with the designer, that it lends itself to be caressed and cuddled. Just the act of playing with the yarn can make you feel calm and relaxed. A great way for anxiety ridden folks to calm their nerves. Don't you think that your mom or grand mom would appreciate this shawl for this Christmas?

This shawl looks so soft and cuddly. The pattern is very well explained and it is complete with pictures and tips of how the work should be progressing throughout the project. She even throws in a few pictures that she has drawn explanations to further help you understand working with this difficult yarn.

This is my very, favorite shawl pattern. I make it using both the Homespun Thick Quick the regular Homespun.

Some things just look cozier than others and when it comes to wanting to just snuggle into something for me this shawl has got it all! The colors are just gorgeous too and I have some really soft bamboo yarn that I have been keeping for the right project. It drapes beautifully and it is in very similar shades. Roll on cooler days lol

You are so right Lynn K this one exudes the coziness across the page! We don't always keep our house the warmest so I'm usually wrapped in something extra during the winter. This one is quite attractive. I love that the yarn is self striping. No changing colors all the time to make it this gorgeous!

What a lovely pattern, have to find time to make this it looks so snuggly! I love shawls ,so easy to just throw around you when you feel a bit chilly,i always have one on the back of my chair where ever i'm sitting. Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern.

This is a really cool stitch. I've already made two shawls! I like that they are really thick and cozy.
