This is such a cute pattern but I did not make it as a potholder I made them as table decorations as it is too nice to cover up. You could add arms using brown and crocheting some stick arms. I also replaced the eyes and buttons with black beads to make them stand out more like coal. The pattern is really easy to follow and it makes up really quickly so they would make great last minute gifts for Christmas.

Is it just me or would you not use this as a potholder? I would totally use it only for decor because it's too cute.
