These color block crochet baskets really turned out nice. No matter what I do, I never seem to have enough storage. Even with a storage shed to keep things in I find myself needing to put other things away. These will be perfect for the growing collection of craft supplies and to keep the kids toys off the floor. I may even be able to convenience my husband to put his baseball caps in one of them.

I want to make these colorblock baskets so I can just throw in there my crochet yarns in different colors. I can imagine several of these baskets just lying around containing lots and lots of yarn in a kaleidoscope of colors. Yohooooo!!

I love baskets. Do you remember when wicker baskets was king? I had a large collection of them and each of them were filled. I had a wicker laundry basket, the largest to bread baskets and just about every size in between. I think I like the crochet basket way better than I ever did the wicker.

So pretty and nice and big. I love the texture. They are easy to make, and the bobble like construction gives it a nice thick fabric that will hold its shape fairly well. It does use quite a bit of yarn though, as it is worked double stranded. It makes a great project basket.

Theses Colorblock Crochet Baskets are great organizers - in the kitchen, children's room, bathroom wherever. The size is just right and you may use any color of yarn you fancy. Go ahead and make it in your favorite vibrant colors. It will stand out in any room.

The stitch pattern and the color changes are really eyecatching, even though it isn't a difficult pattern. It is actually really clever, because anyone who sees these will think it was far more complicated. I am always looking for easy storage solutions, especially ones i can create myself, and these are perfect. I will have to make a couple ( or a dozen) of these to hold all of my childrens small toys and my scrap yarn stash.

I've been eyeing this project for a while now. The blogger says it's perfect for Ikea systems, which is exactly what I have... so I've read through everything and bought all the yarn, and I just can't wait to get started on this!
