This adorable hat would work so well with a cocoon. The author presents the hat in 4 different sizes, from very, very small (1 to 3 pounds) to large newborn (9 to 11 pounds). The author does call for using buttons for the eyes and mouth, but I personally would use crocheted circles of the appropriate size. Im not comfortable with buttons and babies.
